Tanya Edmonds, SPHR has extensive experience in talent acquisition and diversity and inclusion roles. Tanya currently holds the position of Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at RTI International, where they are responsible for overseeing talent acquisition across three divisions and managing a team of eight. Prior to this, Tanya worked at NTT as the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Americas, where they launched Employee Resource Groups and led strategic diversity and inclusion plans. Tanya also served as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Head of DEI - Americas during their nine-year tenure at NTT. Tanya has previous experience in recruitment at Microsoft as a Technical | Diversity Recruiter and at IBM as a Talent Acquisition Team Leader. Tanya also worked at Hudson as the Director of Business Development & Recruitment and founded The Trinity Group as the Managing Partner.
Tanya Edmonds, SPHR, holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University. Tanya also completed the Leadership Development Program at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. In 2020, Tanya obtained a Diversity & Inclusion Certification from Cornell University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in 2020 and a Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP) certification from the Human Capital Institute in 2019. Tanya has also completed various other HR-related certifications in the areas of leadership, ethics, and diversity.
