Doreen Assaad

Doreen Assaad is the current Director at Réseau de transport de Longueuil. Previous to this, they were the Senior Advisor – Business Process Optimization at Desjardins Federation from May 2011 to February 2015. In this role, they were responsible for generating efficiency and productivity benefits for the administrative centers and the future Shared Services, coordinating process improvements efforts with the appropriate IT resources and facilitating workshops to standardise the administrative center processes. From October 2005 to April 2011, they were a Business Optimization Specialist at Canadian National Rail - CN. In this role, they were responsible for leading and delivering process improvement and re-engineering initiatives across multiple business units to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Doreen has also served as the Mayor of the City of Brossard.

Doreen Assaad has a BSC in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from Université de Montréal, a DEC in Universal Sciences (Pure & Health) from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, and a DES in High School/Secondary Diploma Programs from Collège Durocher Saint-Lambert. Doreen also has a certification from BOMBARDIER in Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Level III.
