Randall Salge

Randall Salge has over 19 years of work experience in the technology industry. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Broadband Networking Technician at Rowlan Ventures / Oasis Communications and a Gold Level Technical Support Representative at Dell. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Austin Radiological Association and then returned to Dell as an EMC/Storage Support Senior Analyst until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Mechanical, Hydraulic, & Electrical Technician/Network Admin at Vacuum Solutions of Texas Inc. where they were responsible for maintaining equipment, electric motor troubleshooting and maintenance, PLC programming, wiring, troubleshooting, component level circuit board modification and repair, 2D CAD drawings and wiring schematics, and IT issues. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Stewart & Stevenson as a Field Service Technician III and Electrical Assembler III and was responsible for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs to fleet of Hyster electrical and ICE forklifts, Stewart and Stevenson built RailKing units, generators, and service trucks/equipment, and building Gen. 4, 5, and 6 RailKings. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Electronics Technician III at BJ Services where they were responsible for installing, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting all electrical systems and engine controls on EX125 Blenders before delivery to customer, wiring or modifying control panels, boxes, and various electrical assemblies, and installing Inthinc vehicle monitoring and driver tracking systems to Tractors and light duty trucks. Currently, Randall Salge is a Lead Systems Development Technologist at Reservoir Data Systems where they are responsible for developing, maintaining, and installing multiple Oilfield PLC / DAQ / SCADA systems, providing remote and local support to customers and coworkers, and training field technicians on installation and troubleshooting techniques.
