Susan Learned

Susan Learned, M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D., is the President and Founder of Learned Consulting Group, LLC, which provides R&D, clinical pharmacology, and development support services to pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Learned has served as Senior Vice President of Global Medicines Development at Indivior, a Richmond, VA-based pharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines for patients with addictions and comorbid disorders. Susan’s 25 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry spans all phases of drug discovery and development. She has managed large, global multidisciplinary drug discovery and development organizations, leading the design of innovative clinical trials to make efficient business decisions, implementing biomarkers and translational medicine tools across therapeutic areas, contributing to business development strategies and operations, developing high performing teams, and providing mentorship for globally diverse team members in leadership roles. Dr. Learned obtained her B.S. Pharmacy and M.D. degrees at Union University’s Albany College of Pharmacy and Albany Medical College, Albany, NY.
