Emily S. has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Emily began their career as a Chinese Instructor and English Teaching Assistant at Texas Tech University. In 2012, they held positions as a Resident Advisor and Chinese Resident Adviser at Middlebury Interactive Languages and Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy respectively. In 2013, they were a Mandarin Chinese Teacher at PIONEER VALLEY CHINESE IMMERSION CHARTER SCHOOL. In 2018, they were a Content Development Intern at Smith & Nephew. In 2019, they were a Bootcamper-JAVA/Full Stack at Improving and a Knowledge Management Specialist Intern at Fujitsu Network Communications.
