Jean McCall, SHRM-SCP

Jean McCall, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Jean is currently working as the Human Resources Director at GM HILL Engineering since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director and then the VP of Human Resources at Residential Elevators from December 2020 to January 2023. From 2017 to 2020, Jean worked as an HR Manager at REI Residential Elevators Incorporated. Before that, they were an HR Generalist at Paychex from May 2015 to June 2017. Jean also has experience as a Human Resources Consultant at CoAdvantage from December 2009 to May 2015 and as an HR Account Manager at AlphaStaff from May 2007 to May 2009. Jean began their career as a Resource Manager at Wyle from October 2003 to May 2006 and as an Office Manager at Chesapeake Christian Counseling Center from July 2000 to September 2003. Through their roles, Jean has developed a diverse skill set in HR, including HR consulting, HR management, and office management.

Jean McCall, SHRM-SCP, has a solid educational background in the field of business administration and management. In 2002, they attended Anne Arundel Community College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Jean continued their studies at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

To further enhance their professional credentials, Jean obtained additional certifications in the field of human resources. In 2009, they successfully completed the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). In 2015, they obtained both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification from HRCI and the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Jean's pursuit of higher education extended beyond their degree programs. In an effort to expand their knowledge and expertise, they enrolled in Harvard Business School Online, where they completed a course in Financial Accounting. Jean is expected to complete this program in 2022.
