Jan Palenicek

Jan Palenicek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and product development within the engineering sector. Currently serving as the Research Development Lead at Resideo since June 2018, Jan leads a team of 35 designers and is responsible for developing road-maps for platforms, products, and technologies while collaborating with system architects to ensure technical solutions align with customer expectations. Prior experience includes a tenure at Honeywell from April 2003 to May 2018, where Jan held multiple roles including Product Development Manager, Program Manager, and Engineering Team Lead, overseeing teams ranging from 10 to 45 designers, with a focus on mechatronic development in HVAC systems and fluid control products. Jan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Brno University of Technology.
