Taihua Rubin is a software engineer with experience in both digital and brick-and-mortar businesses. Taihua began their career in 2013 as a teaching intern at the New York City Guitar School, where they conducted a research project and coached rock bands. In 2015, they moved on to become a studio engineer at New York University, where they monitored recording studios, managed and recommended audio recording equipment, and troubleshot for recording sessions. In 2017, they co-founded the Long Beach Guitar School, where they launched the startup's digital and brick-and-mortar businesses, recruited 10+ teachers and 1000+ students, and introduced Agile project management to enhance teamwork metrics. This resulted in 250% better communication for complex projects in the startup environment. Additionally, they arranged user experience interviews to improve web applications UI, generating 70% more enrollments. In 2020, Taihua Rubin became a software engineer at The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy. Most recently, they began working as a software engineer at Resilia in 2021.
Taihua Rubin has an educational background in engineering, computer science, and arts, entertainment, and media management. Taihua obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Tainan National University of the Arts in 2015. Taihua also completed a Software Engineering course from The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy and a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) course from The Interaction Design Foundation.
