Even Cheng

Even Cheng has a diverse background in software engineering and leadership roles. Even started their career as a Web Engineer at Jade Dragon Mountain Bookstore, where they created an online ordering system. Even then worked as a Software Engineer at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where they focused on natural language processing projects.

In 2011, Even joined Rovi Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed algorithms for search and recommendation systems. Even also worked on improving workflow between the development and quality assurance teams.

Even then joined Vistaprint as a Software Engineer, where they built a search engine and integrated it with various tools for automation. Even also developed unit tests and RESTful API services.

Next, Even worked at Tanjarine as an Android Team Lead, managing a remote team and bridging communication between the local teams and offshore engineers. Even also managed project schedules and worked closely with the remote team to deliver releases on time.

Even then joined Castlight Health as an Engineering Lead, leading a team in developing web-based applications with a big data backend. Even also played a key role in the acquisition of Jiff Inc. by Castlight Health.

After that, Even worked at ZapLabs as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, where they led a full-stack team and managed direct reports. Even worked with product and senior leadership to set up long-term strategies and technology roadmaps.

Most recently, Even worked at Invitae as an Engineering Lead, conducting 1-on-1s with developers to shape their career development. Even also worked with senior leaders to define engineering objectives and collaborated with the product team on roadmap planning.

Currently, Even holds the position of Director of Engineering at Resilience Lab, where they lead the engineering team. The specific responsibilities and duration of this role are not provided.

Even Cheng completed their Bachelor's degree in Management of Information System from National Chengchi University. Even pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
