Stephen O'Beirne, LCSW

Vice President, Payer and Enterprise at Resilience Lab

Stephen O'Beirne, LCSW, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stephen is currently serving as the Vice President, Payer and Enterprise at Resilience Lab since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NYU Langone Health as the Assistant Site Director from July 2020 to July 2022.

From October 2015 to July 2020, Stephen held the position of Administrative Director of Psychiatry at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Before that, they were associated with NYC Health + Hospitals as the Associate Director, Behavioral Health, Metropolitan Hospital Center from March 2008 to March 2015. In this role, they had administrative oversight of various outpatient Behavioral Health programs and was part of a team that implemented Lean Quality Improvement Methodology.

Stephen's earlier experiences include working as the Coordinator of Admissions and Outreach at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health from October 2006 to March 2008, and as a Psychiatric Social Worker at NYC Health + Hospitals, Metropolitan Hospital Center from July 2003 to October 2006.

Stephen started their career as an MSW Graduate Student Intern, first at Cancer Care from September 2002 to May 2003, and then at Jacobi Medical Center from September 2001 to May 2002.

Before transitioning to the field of social work, Stephen worked at Weber Shandwick (formerly BSMG Worldwide) from July 1996 to April 2001. Stephen initially served as a Senior Account Executive, where they executed corporate positioning and branding campaigns for renowned companies. Later, they became one of the youngest directors in the company's history and was responsible for public communications and securing new business opportunities.

Stephen O'Beirne, LCSW completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism at Indiana University Bloomington from 1992 to 1996. Stephen then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University between 2001 and 2003.
