Katie McCormick

Katie McCormick, MA, ATR-BC, is an experienced art therapist currently working at PSA Behavioral Health since February 2018. Prior to this role, Katie served as an Art Therapist, Lead Therapist, and Interim Manager at UHS from August 2015 to July 2019, where responsibilities included implementing creative art therapy activities, preparing stress management activities, and designing collaborative treatment plans with hospital staff. Additionally, Katie has experience as a Recreational Aide at the Family Service League of Long Island and as Program Director at Creative Adult Daycare, where program development and individualized therapeutic activities were key responsibilities. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Art Studies from Auburn University.
