Jan Stiborek

Jan Stiborek is a co-founder of Resistant AI with a strong background in network security and machine learning, having held the position since February 2019. Prior experience includes working as a software engineer at Cisco Systems from March 2013 to January 2019, where Jan focused on R&D in network security. Jan also served as a researcher at Cognitive Security s.r.o. from October 2012 to March 2013, contributing to research in network security and machine learning. Earlier roles include conducting research at Czech Technical University in Prague, particularly focused on the automatic evaluation of intrusion detection systems and developing anomaly-based detection algorithms from March 2008 to March 2013, and working as a self-employed web developer from July 2004 to March 2008. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics and Computer Science obtained from Czech Technical University in Prague between 2010 and 2018, and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution from 2006 to 2010.
