Martin Rehak

Martin Rehak is the current CEO at Resistant AI, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they were the Principal Engineer/ R&D Site Director at Cisco from 2013 to 2019, where they led the team that built the Cognitive Threat Analytics/Cognitive Intelligence product for cloud-based behavioural malware detection. From 2009 to 2013, Rehak was the CEO, Co-Founder & CTO at Cognitive Security s.r.o., which they created in 2009 and raised VC funding for in 2011 before selling it to Cisco Systems in 2013. Martin has also held positions as a Lecturer & Senior Researcher at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2003 to 2022 and as a Project Engineer at Schlumberger SmartCards (now Gemalto) from 2001 to 2003.

Martin Rehak began their educational career by obtaining a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Martin then went on to obtain a Diplome Grande Ecole in Engineering, IT and Telecommunications from CentraleSupélec.
