Katherine Thomson

Katherine (Kat) Thomson, PhD is a Senior Content Strategist (UX) at ResMed, focusing on creating user-centric content solutions to improve the patient journey and health outcomes. With experience at Magoosh as a Senior Content Strategist and Manager, and as a Senior Instructional Designer & Curriculum Manager, Kat has a background in curriculum design, content creation, and transforming online courses. With a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, San Francisco, Kat has also taught sociology courses at UC Berkeley, University of San Francisco, and Bowdoin College, with a focus on health, medicine, and social issues. Prior to their current role, Kat worked as a Research Specialist in Health Policy & Medical Sociology at the University of California, San Francisco.
