Edward Hodgkin

Edward Hodgkin has a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Edward is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Resolution Therapeutics since August 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Partner at Syncona Limited starting from April 2013. Edward also served as Director at OMass Therapeutics from June 2018 and Director at Autolus Therapeutics from September 2014 to June 2018. Additionally, they have held positions such as Non-Executive Director at BioIndustry Association from 2010 to 2016, Chief Executive Officer at Biotica Technology Ltd. from August 2007 to December 2012, President & Chief Business Officer at BrainCells, Inc. from August 2004 to December 2006, and Vice President, Marketing & Business Development at Tripos, Inc. from 1999 to 2004. Edward began their career as a Senior Scientist at British Biotech from 1990 to 1994 and subsequently worked as an Associate Director, Structural Biology at Wyeth from 1994 to 1999.

Edward Hodgkin attended the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (MA) degree in Chemistry from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree in Chemistry from 1985 to 1987.
