Lara Campana

Lara Campana's work experience begins with their role as a Teacher of General Pathology and Immunology at Istituto Superiore di Osteopatia in 2008. Lara was responsible for teaching undergraduate students and delivering lectures based on a pre-set program.

In the same year, Lara also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele. Here, they completed their master's project and published their findings.

Moving forward, Lara joined The University of Edinburgh in 2013 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Lara continued their research work as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Visiting Scientist at the university.

In 2020, Lara took on the role of Director, Macrophage Biology, and co-founder at Resolution Therapeutics. Lara held this position until 2022 before being promoted to the position of VP, Macrophage Biology and co-founder. Currently, they are serving as the VP of Research Operations at the same company.

Lara Campana has an extensive education history. Lara received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cellular and Molecular Immunology from The Open University, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Medical and Molecular Biotechnology at Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele from 2006 to 2008. During this program, they focused on various subjects including Immunology, Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Pathology, I.P., and Research funding.

Before their Master's degree, Lara obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele. This degree, completed from 2003 to 2006, involved studying diverse topics such as Biology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics.

Lara's education journey began with their high school education at Liceo Scientifico Angelico Aprosio, where they earned their High School Diploma in 2003. During their time there, they studied Sciences, Languages, Maths and Physics, Humanities, and Latin.

In addition to their formal education, Lara has also pursued various certifications. Lara attained the following certifications from LinkedIn: "How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority," "Leadership Tips, Tactics and Advice," and "Managing in a Matrixed Organization" in June 2022. Lara also completed the certification "Developing Assertive Leadership" in June 2020 and "Building a Better To-Do List" and "Strategic Thinking" in May 2020. Furthermore, Lara obtained the certification "Building Resilience as a Leader" from LinkedIn in April 2020.

Lastly, Lara holds the certification "DELF - Diplome d'Etude de Langue Francaise - European Level B2" from the French Consulate in Ventimiglia (IM), Italy, obtained in 2002. Additionally, they are a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK, awarded by the University of Edinburgh for the Higher Education Academy.
