Vickash Chetry is an ambitious and detail-oriented finance and administrative professional with over 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, grants management, and administration. Currently serving as an Associate in Finance & Operations at Resolve to Save Lives, Vickash excels in financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards.

Throughout his career, Vickash has demonstrated a commitment to transparency and supporting global, regional, and national entities. He has a proven track record of developing and implementing robust financial management systems that enhance financial stability and sustainability. His expertise extends to conducting due diligence to assess and manage financial fraud risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining clean audits.

Before joining Resolve to Save Lives, Vickash held the position of Senior Associate in Finance & Accounting at Room to Read, where he managed budgeting and forecasting, conducted internal audits, and generated timely financial reports for management and donors. His role also involved collaborating with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing and liaising with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit recommendations and regulatory requirements.

Vickash's career also includes a tenure as a Consultant - Accounts Officer at Save the Children, where he reviewed invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance, and as a Finance & Admin Manager at Rural Volunteers Centre, where he led the development and implementation of annual financial plans and managed HR administration.

Vickash holds an MBA in Finance from Chandigarh University and a B.Com in Human Resource Management from Purbanchal College (Dibrugarh University). He is proficient in MS Excel and ERP software, including Sage Intacct, Nexonia, and Tally ERP 9. His skills encompass financial management and budgeting, payroll processing, internal audit and reconciliation, risk management, and financial reporting and analysis.

In addition to his professional achievements, Vickash has completed several courses, including a Diploma in IFRS E-learning Program and a Diploma in Advanced Business Application. He can speak English, Nepali, Hindi, and Assamese.
