Walter Dewey serves as CEO and Chief Investment Strategist for Resonant Capital Advisors. He has over 30 years of investment experience and develops customized portfolios for high net worth and institutional clients in addition to advising client families and officers on their varied investment- and business-related issues. Walter’s career is also his primary hobby, and his professional experience includes 21 years with US Bancorp and 5 years each with Reinhart Partners and Madison Investment Advisors.

At U.S. Bancorp, Walter served as a Senior Portfolio Strategist and worked with the largest clients and prospects of the Private Asset Management group across the country. In this role, he was involved in the development and oversight of the firm’s investment strategies and products. In addition to these responsibilities, Walter spent considerable time as a spokesperson for the bank’s Private Asset Management division delivering investment strategy sessions to clients across the United States. He was the manager of the First American Large Cap Core Fund and First American Balanced Fund and managed two model portfolios used by portfolio managers of U.S. Bank throughout the United States.

He serves as a Director of a number of Wisconsin-based organizations including the Carbone Cancer Center (Advisory Board), Waisman Center (Advisory Board), Bethel Lutheran Church (Investment Committee Director and Foundation President) as well as fulfilling similar roles for a variety of private companies.
