Richard Broughton

Richard Broughton is a seasoned professional in Unified Communications and telecommunications with over 40 years of experience. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Resonate since June 2019, Richard specializes in Microsoft Teams deployments and maximizing enterprise value from telephony and videoconferencing. Prior to this, Richard spent over 17 years at Shell IT International Ltd in various roles, including Senior Consultant and Lead Service Manager, where expertise was applied in re-tendering communication network services and leading the global introduction of Microsoft Lync. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Petroleum Development Oman and Mercury Communications, along with a strong foundation at British Rail. Richard holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.
