Jhon Torres

Jhon Torres has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Jhon began their career in 2001 as a Support Team Leader for Ecopetrol at Schlumberger, where they worked until 2005. Jhon then joined Unisys, where they served as a Support Team Leader for Ecopetrol until 2009. In 2009, Jhon took on the role of Exploration and Production Technical DataBank Project Infrastructure Leader at Ecopetrol. After that, they worked as a Data Management Applications Specialist for Ecopetrol at Schlumberger from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Jhon joined Indra as the Upstream Platform Manager for Ecopetrol and worked there until 2012. Jhon then joined Halliburton as a Principal Consultant and worked for them from 2012 until May 2022.

From June 2022 to December 2022, Jhon worked as a Cloud Solutions Leader at UMP Technologies LLC. Currently, they are working at Resource Energy Solutions Inc. as a Product Solutions Manager, starting in April 2023.

Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Antonio Nariño between 2002 and 2007. Going further back, Jhon completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Universidad del Valle (CO) from 1993 to 1996.

Aside from their formal education, Jhon Torres also holds two additional certifications. Jhon received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2021.
