Shayla Olson-Nesby

Shayla Olson-Nesby, GSP, is an accomplished Safety Manager at Resource Innovations, specializing in clean energy solutions since January 2023. Previously, Shayla served as the Training and Safety Services Coordinator at Kansas Municipal Utilities, focusing on safety and professional development across member cities in Kansas. Prior experience includes roles at Catalyst Safety Inc. as a Client Safety Solutions & Training Specialist, and at Witt O'Brien's, managing site safety during a FEMA hurricane cleanup project. Shayla also has a strong background in the insurance sector, having worked with Edward Jones and Farmers Insurance in various capacities, including training and development. Earlier military experience includes serving as a Missile and Space Systems Journeyman and Technical Training Instructor in the United States Air Force. Shayla holds multiple degrees in Occupational Safety and Health, Business, and other fields from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the Community College of the Air Force.
