Sian Wu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations, multicultural marketing, and communications. Currently serving as an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington's Communication Leadership program since November 2022, Sian develops and teaches courses on multicultural marketing and communications. With a long-standing tenure at Resource Media since August 2016 as Managing Director, Team & Multicultural Lead, Sian focuses on leveraging communications strategies for nonprofits and governmental agencies on various social and environmental issues. Previous roles include Senior Account Executive and Account Supervisor at C+C, and Program Coordinator and Director at Resource Media, fostering expertise in campaign communications and brand building. Sian's background also includes contributions to the International Examiner and Seattle Arts & Lectures, along with a managing editor position at Transitions Abroad. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Chinese from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a certificate in Public Relations from the University of Washington.
