Part Time Hairdresser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hairdresser to join our forward thinking Aged Care organisation, located at our Fred French facility in Launceston. This position is a permanent position working two days per week: Wednesday and Fridays 9am-5pm.

About the position: As a Hairdresser in Aged Care, you will be responsible for providing professional hair care services to residents within our aged care facility. Your role involves understanding and catering to the unique needs of elderly clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during hair care procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**Hair Care Services:

• Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and hair treatments as per residents' preferences and needs.
• Ensure hygiene standards are maintained during all hair care procedures.

Client Interaction:

• Build rapport with residents and communicate effectively to understand their hair care preferences and any specific requirements.

Schedule Management:

• Organise and manage appointments efficiently to accommodate residents' schedules and ensure timely service delivery.

Product and Equipment Management:

• Maintain inventory of hair care products and tools, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good working condition.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control measures, while performing hair care services
