Thanawin Trakoolwilaiwan

Thanawin Trakoolwilaiwan has a diverse work experience in the field of research and bioengineering. Thanawin is currently working as the Head of Operations at Respiree since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Research Officer at A*STAR Institute of Bioengineering & Bioimaging (IBB) from April 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining IBB, Thanawin worked at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where they held roles as a Senior Research Officer at the Singapore Bioimaging Consortium (SBIC) from April 2020 to April 2021, and as a Research Officer at SBIC from December 2017 to April 2020.

Thanawin's earlier work experience includes being a Graduate Student Researcher at CSP LAB in DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology) from September 2015 to August 2017. Thanawin also had a research internship at the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology (SINAPSE) in April 2014.

Thanawin Trakoolwilaiwan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mahidol University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology) from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Thanawin Trakoolwilaiwan has also acquired several certifications. Thanawin obtained the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in July 2022. In October 2020, they completed the Medical Devices Quality Management System - ISO 13485:2016 certification from Udemy, as well as the Project Management Foundations certification from LinkedIn.
