Bill Stokes

Bill Stokes is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in international relations and organizational development. As the Chairman and Founder of Washington Network Group since 1995, Bill has spearheaded initiatives that promote networking among professionals. In addition, Bill has contributed to the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt as a Responsible Leader, engaging over 1,700 members globally to advance collaborative projects for a sustainable future. Bill's mentoring roles at the Founder Institute and RESPOND Accelerator focus on aiding startups, particularly in the social sector. As the William & Mary Professional Networks Leader, Bill enhances community engagement among alumni and promotes career programming. Bill’s previous positions include leadership roles at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Bill holds a B.A. in International Affairs from William & Mary and has pursued graduate studies in International Business and European Politics at The George Washington University.
