Ruzgar Barisik

Ruzgar Barisik is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in technology-enabled business models and emerging markets. As Managing Partner at Next Billion Capital Partners since 2019, Ruzgar has led efforts in impactful investments. Ruzgar also serves as Managing Partner for responsAbility Investments AG's Next Billion Digital Growth Fund, which focuses on growth-stage technology companies in global emerging markets. Previously, Ruzgar was a Senior Investment Officer at IFC/World Bank, managing investments in technology companies from 2011 to 2019. Prior to that, Ruzgar was a Partner at GTI Group, a private equity firm, and held the position of Director of Corporate Development at KCI. Ruzgar holds a BA in Math from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
