Thobani Lwazi Mngwengwe

Thobani Lwazi Mngwengwe possesses extensive experience in student leadership and administration, currently serving as a Residence Fellow at Respublica (Pty) Ltd since March 2021, where responsibilities include promoting company principles and facilitating communication between management and students. Previously, Thobani held the position of Residence Anchor and played a significant role in the COVID-19 Task Team, ensuring essential support for students during quarantine. Additionally, Thobani served as a Class Representative and Vice President for the Forum for Planning Students at the University of Johannesburg, along with experience in student administration as an Intake Administrator and Floor Representative. Thobani is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Johannesburg, with prior degrees in the same field, including an Honours and Bachelor's degree.
