Kara Wilson Oliver

Kara Wilson Oliver is the Head of People at Resq. Kara has over fifteen years of experience in various Human Resources and management positions. Kara has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto.

Kara has always been passionate about helping others and making a difference in the world. Kara started their career in the non-profit sector, working for organizations that focus on issues such as employee engagement, civic participation, and fundraising for charitable causes. In their role as Product Director at Jibestream, Kara helped facilitate safer and more efficient workplaces through Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

Most recently, Kara was the Director, People & Culture at Digital Public Square. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that combats misinformation around the world and helps protect vulnerable people and build healthy communities. Kara is currently using their skills and experience to help Resq with their mission of connecting people in need with lifesaving resources.

Kara Wilson Oliver has an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Western University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from York University, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Interactive MultiMedia (Programming) from Sheridan College.

They are on a team with Bob Reid - Director Of Engineering, Jordy Winkler - Director Of Business Operations, and Parisa Tootazehi - Marketing Director. Kara Wilson Oliver reports to Kuljeev Singh, CEO & Founder.
