Helen Alamaras

Helen Alamaras is an experienced professional in operational risk and compliance, currently serving as the General Manager of Operational Risk and Resilience at Rest since July 2020. Helen has held multiple roles related to risk management, including Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance in Investments and Senior Manager of Risk Management at MLC Life Insurance, where responsibilities focused on business risk management in various areas such as IT risk and cyber security. Additional experience includes acting as Head of Service Management and Manager of Operations and Lines of Business at MLC Australia, as well as extensive tenure at National Australia Bank, where Helen led business analysis efforts and managed a team of business analysts. Helen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a focus on Banking and Finance from La Trobe University.
