John Schmerold

John Schmerold is an accomplished finance professional with significant experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly within the restaurant industry. Since August 2016, John has held various leadership roles at Restaurant Brands International, including Director of FP&A and Senior Manager for Burger King FP&A. Previous positions include Manager of Burger King Global Finance and Credit Analyst at Z Capital Partners, L.L.C. Additionally, John served as a Research Assistant at The Center for the Economics of Human Development under Nobel Laureate James Heckman, where responsibilities included developing programming techniques for managing complex datasets and presenting analytical findings. John holds a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and attended St. Louis Priory School.
