Anthony Advincula

Anthony Advincula has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and media. Anthony most recently worked as the Director of Communications at Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, where they developed communications and media strategies, managed media relations, and handled press engagement. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Media Consultant at the Center for Cooperative Media, leading a project in multiple states and cities across the U.S. Anthony also worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at SEIU, where they developed communications and media initiatives for political campaigns. Additionally, Anthony has experience as a National Media Director and Editor at New America Media, a Research Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, and as a Communications Director and Managing Editor at Independent Press Association-New York. Anthony also worked as a Stringer at The Associated Press and as a Correspondent/Reporter at The Jersey Journal earlier in their career.

Anthony Advincula attended Harvard University from 2005 to 2006, where they studied communication, journalism, and related programs. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Public Administration and Journalism from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) from 2007 to 2010.
