Mark Lorey has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the non-profit sector. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Programs and Impact at RestoringVision, where they lead the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of the organization's global programs and impact. Prior to this, they served as the Vice Chair of the Firelight Foundation Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Faith to Action Advisory Board. Mark also has extensive experience with World Vision, where they held positions such as Vice President/Global Leader, Senior Director of Development and Program Effectiveness, Director of Integrated Program Model Initiative, and Director of the HIV and AIDS Models of Learning Program. Mark has also worked as a consultant on Orphans and Vulnerable Children Programs for USAID and FXB Foundation, and as the East Timor Program Lead and Leadership Fellow at Save the Children US. Mark has a strong track record of successfully leading and implementing impactful initiatives in the non-profit sector.

Mark Lorey has a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Duke University, with a double major in International Studies and History. Mark also holds a Master's degree in Development Studies through the Institute for Social Development at the University of the Western Cape. Additionally, they have completed a 6-week executive course on MIT Digital Business Strategy at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Lorey has also received training in survival skills in fragile contexts through a Hostile Environment Action Training program at World Vision International. Mark has also completed a Senior Leadership Development Program at World Vision International.
