Talal Shawwa

Talal Shawwa has extensive work experience in various sales and management roles. Talal is currently serving as the Vice President - Sales / MEA at Restrata, where they are responsible for resilience, safety, security, risk and crisis management, and business continuity. Prior to this, Talal worked as the Country Manager (OT Cybersecurity) for UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait at Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence. Talal also held the position of Regional Sales Manager MENA (Power & Utilities) at PAS, where they promoted and sold software solutions and services to the Power & Utilities industry. Talal has also worked as the Sales Director - MEA / Utilities at Oracle and the Director of Sales - Utilities & Geospatial / MENA & Turkey at Bentley Systems, where they managed sales teams and implemented strategies to increase market share. Earlier in their career, Talal served as the Station Manager - Eastern Province at Aramex and the Sales Territory Manager at DHL Express.

Talal Shawwa pursued a Bsc in Finance & Business Administration from the University of Jordan, graduating in 1990. In 2007, they obtained certification as a Certified Internal Quality Auditor ISO 9001 from Lloyds Register. Talal participated in a training course in 2020, and in 2019, they completed a program on Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education. Additionally, they are a member of ASIS International and holds the certification of Certified Internal Quality Auditor ISO 9001 from Lloyds Register.
