Alexander J. Alvarez, MBA has a wealth of experience in the financial and operational fields. From 2001 to 2006, they served as the Financial Controller at Sea Specialties, Inc. and Barnacle Seafood, where they directed the financial and operational functions of a 7-person team with the financial responsibility for a $70M division's accounting, budget, audits, and financial reporting. Alexander J. managed the budget and financial impact for the development of the Healthcare Exchange Websites through the month-end/year-end closing process, monthly financial statements for the Statewide Information Technology Management contracts, to ensure the budgeted and forecasted operating margins were met with no cost overruns.

In 2014, Alvarez became the Manager of Financial Operations at Laureate International Universities, where they designed and implemented the global financial reporting platform for $300M of International Universities throughout Central and South America and deployed the revenue recognition business processes, KPI's metrics, and reduced days to close of the month-end closing, between the universities and the Shared Service Centers.

Alvarez was the Manager of Shared Services Operational Accounting at PANDORA A/S from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Director of Financial Operation and HR at Restyn, where they co-developed with the CEO/Founder the strategic business plans for the growth and scalability of recruiting application platform with a 5-year business plan analysis to support the investment of the organization. Alexander J. was also responsible for month-end and year-end closing process, internal control policies and procedures, and analysis of the annual corporate filing with the external CPA firm. Additionally, they developed client partner relationships for C-level executive's management placement for domestic and international markets such as Japan and Germany.

In 2018, Alvarez became the Officer at Plac.io, where they were responsible for connecting people by digging deeper and removing the resume run-around.

Alexander J. Alvarez, MBA earned a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Florida International University - College of Business with a double major in Finance and International Business. Alexander J. then went on to earn a Master of International Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Nova Southeastern University's School of Business and Entrepreneurship, with a focus in International Economics and Finance.
