Kavina D. advocates for solutions to end poverty in the U.S, working with media, local organizing, and policymakers. As a graduate teaching assistant, Kavina led discussions on health policy and management. Kavina also worked as a pro-bono consultant, a research assistant, and held leadership roles in various clinics and committees. Education includes a Master of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Global Disease Biology.
