Brendan Herron

Brendan Herron is an accomplished finance and strategic advisor with extensive experience in the environmental and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Strategic Advisor at Hannon Armstrong since 2021 and previously as EVP and CFO, Brendan has played a critical role in the company’s IPO. Additionally, Brendan serves as Lead Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair at Shimmick Corporation, and as a Board Observer at REsurety, Inc., providing strategic guidance. Brendan's advisory contributions extend to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Previous roles include key positions at CURRENT Group, LLC, and Aggregate Industries, as well as various executive roles at Hannon Armstrong from 1994 to 2005, alongside an early career at a consumer products company and Ernst & Young. Brendan holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting and Computer Science from Loyola University Maryland.
