Betsy Boyd is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Christian Education at Resurrection Lutheran Church since August 2018 and as Head of School at Holy Family Episcopal School since August 2017. In these roles, Betsy manages site operations and ensures quality in programs and staff development. Betsy also holds the position of Site Director at AlphaBEST Education, Inc. since February 2014, overseeing afterschool programs for numerous students across multiple sites. Previous experience includes a Program Director role at the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, where Betsy launched summer camps and after-school programs, and serving as Executive Director for 16-21 Transitions Ministries, focusing on mentoring at-risk youth. Betsy’s early career included significant positions within The Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, managing multiple programs and extensive volunteer coordination. Betsy graduated from Gordon College in 1989 with a BA in Youth Development, concentrating in Social Work and Theology.
