Mattias Ekman

Mattias Ekman has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Currently, they serve as the Chief Commercial Officer - Corporate at Resurs Bank since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Board Member and former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Brink Commerce, starting in August 2021. Mattias also holds the role of Chairman of the Board at Skrym since September 2022 and serves as a Member at Nova Talent since July 2021.

In addition, Mattias has served in multiple roles at Klarna, starting as a Senior Key Account Manager in January 2014 and progressing to Accountable & Competence Lead - Merchant Development & Acquisition (SE & DACH), where they led a team responsible for expanding and maintaining partnerships with top-tier merchants in the Nordics.

Mattias also has experience as a Sales Manager at Hi3G Access AB and held various roles at the same company, including Account Manager and Sales Executive. Furthermore, they served as an Event Salesman at BallBreaker and as an Event Manager at the beginning of their career. Mattias also has a board membership at IHM Business School and previously served as an Advisory Board member.

Mattias Ekman attended Walthers Gymnasium from 2005 to 2007, where they studied the Samhällsvetenskapliga programmet with a specialization in IT. From 2008 to 2014, they pursued various leadership and sales training programs, and from 2013 to 2014, they attended Uppsala Universitet for an Ekonomi Kandidatprogram. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, they studied Business Management at IHM Business School.
