Linda Boot

Linda Boot is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in public transportation and municipal services. Currently serving as Algemeen directeur at RET since February 2024, Linda oversees public transport operations in the Rotterdam region. Prior roles include Directeur/bestuurder at Cyclus, where responsibilities involved maintaining a clean and safe living environment, and Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur at Pameijer, focusing on empowering individuals and community involvement. Linda has held significant positions such as Director Railcompany at HTM, leading public rail transport initiatives, and gemeentesecretaris for the new municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Additional experience includes project leadership at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science during the merger of heritage services, and roles within the Gemeente Amsterdam and GVB, along with early career experience at AT&T. Linda holds a master's degree in sociology from the University of Amsterdam and completed education at TU Delft and Coornhert Gymnasium in Gouda.
