Thomas Casey

Thomas Casey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Thomas started their career as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office in 2003 and held the position until 2005. Thomas then joined the American Farm Bureau Federation, where they served first as an Assistant General Counsel from 2005 to 2010, and later as a Deputy General Counsel from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI), holding the roles of Deputy General Counsel from 2011 to 2015, and later General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2015 to 2018. In 2008, Thomas Casey became the Managing Member of CV Beach Investments LLC and served in that capacity until May 2021. Most recently, they joined the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) in 2019 as the Vice President of Legal Affairs.

Thomas Casey has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business/Finance from James Madison University. Thomas also holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in law from Widener University School of Law. Additionally, they are certified to practice law in the District of Columbia by the Court of Appeals, obtained in February 2006. Thomas has also obtained a license to practice law in Maryland from the Maryland Court of Appeals in June 1998.
