Dave Byrne

Dave Byrne has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dave started their career at T-Mobile UK as an Implementation Analyst, managing the implementation of new systems into customer service. Dave then transitioned into the role of Business Analyst, acting as a link between IT and Customer Services.

Following their time at T-Mobile UK, Dave worked as a Business Analyst for Sword Ciboodle, a global software provider specializing in Contact Centre and CRM solutions. Dave collaborated with clients to gather requirements and ensure software delivery met all business needs.

Dave then joined National Australia Group as a Business Change Analyst, leading the PCI DSS Compliance Assessment across Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank. Dave conducted interviews and mapped processes to recommend improvements for PCI DSS compliance.

Dave later worked at KANA Software as a Senior Business Analyst, before moving to Verint-Systems as a Director of Business Analysis. In this role, they headed the Business Analysis department and worked closely with Product Managers and development teams to define product features and enhancements.

Dave then joined McCurrach as a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner, responsible for the entire project lifecycle of their Data Analytics product. Dave created a commercial pricing model and successfully sold the solution to existing customers.

Currently, Dave is working at Retail Insight as a Lead Product Manager, and from March 2022, they have been appointed as the Product Director. Additional details about their roles and responsibilities in these positions have not been provided.

Dave Byrne attended the University of Glasgow from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a BEng degree in Electronics & Music. Dave then pursued further education at the University of Strathclyde from 2002 to 2003, earning an MSc in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Dave also holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
