Sr. Functional Business Analyst at Retail Process Engineering (RPE)

Lucy Fernandez has extensive work experience in the field of business analysis and project coordination. Lucy started their career in 1986 as MIS Operations Supervisor and Trainer/Documentation Coordinator at Banner's Holdings Inc. Lucy then worked as a Trainer at Retail Applications Specialist Inc. In 2000, they joined JDA Software Group Inc. as a Business Analyst and Product Specialist, where they supported various projects and accounts and played a key role in re-engineering business processes. At JDA Software, they also created product visions, developed training programs, and conducted instructor-led training sessions.

In 2007, Lucy worked as a Business Analyst/Independent Consultant at New Clicks South Africa, leading a software implementation project for a pharmaceutical and wellness provider. Lucy also worked as a Business Analyst at Forzani Group Ltd. and Lululemon Athletica, both contracted by RPE Solutions. At Forzani Group, they focused on business process analysis and played a role in merger and acquisition projects. At Lululemon Athletica, they supported a software upgrade project.

In 2009, Lucy worked as a Business Analyst at Katz Group Ltd., where they collaborated on software implementation and integration projects for a pharmaceutical manufacturer/retailer. Lucy provided risk and mitigation assessments and supported legacy system decommission.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked at PETCO as a Business Systems Analyst, reporting directly to the IT VP and Director. In this role, they prioritized projects, resolved issues, and coordinated implementation and communication efforts.

Since 2013, Lucy has been working at RPE Solutions as a Senior Functional Business Analyst. Lucy'sresponsibilities include business diagnostics, system design, process analysis, and training course development.

Lucy also volunteered as a Project Coordinator and Planner at IIBA Orange County CA Chapter Inc. for a non-profit organization from 2015 to 2016.

Lucy Fernandez has a diverse education history. Lucy first attended the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, where they graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After that, they pursued further education at Villanova University, obtaining a certificate in Business Analysis in 2008. Later on, from 2009 to 2010, they attended UC Irvine, where they earned another certificate in Business Analysis.

Additionally, Lucy Fernandez attended UC Irvine again from 2014 to 2016 for further specialization. Lucy obtained a degree in Business Process Optimization and a degree in Agile Project Management during this period.

Currently, Lucy Fernandez is working towards obtaining their CBAP certification from the IIBA. The exact date of completion is not specified.
