Rita McCarthy

Rita McCarthy is an experienced event management professional currently serving as an Event Manager at emap since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rita held various positions at Worldwide Events from February 2020 to March 2024, including Assistant Event Manager, Event Executive, and Customer Success Executive. Rita also gained experience as an Account Executive at Conference Partners International from January 2019 to February 2020 and worked as a Sales Marketing Intern at Event Partners Ireland from May 2018 to January 2019. Earlier positions include a Tech Assistant role at C.W.B from May 2016 to May 2018 and a TCO position at the Department of Social Protection during the summer of 2017. Additionally, Rita worked as a Legal Assistant at Silverbeck Rymer Solicitors in June and July 2015. Rita holds a Postgraduate degree in Event Management from Fitzwilliam Institute (2020-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Music, Media and Performance Technology from the University of Limerick (2014-2018).
