Christine B. Cottrell

Christy Cottrell founded Retail Data Services in 1988 and serves as Co-Chairman. Prior to starting the company, Christy worked for Richfood, a regional grocery wholesaler later acquired by Supervalu. At Richfood, Christy held a number of management positions, including Director of Pricing. Christy’s passion for excellence led RetailData to become the premier retail intelligence company in the U.S. Christy was awarded the Virginia Entrepreneur of the Year in 1998. Christy is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Psychology.
