Dawn Heid

Dawn Heid has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dawn started their career in 2013 as an Office Professional for DeKalb School District #428. Dawn then worked as an Accounting Manager at Crown Exteriors from 2015 to 2016. Dawn later joined Kennedy and Company CPA's as a Staff Accountant/ Office Manager from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Financial Executive at Rethink Electric and also started their own consulting business, Profit Partners Consulting Inc. Dawn continued to expand their teaching experience by working as an Adjunct Instructor at Waubonsee Community College from 2018 to 2021 and currently holds the position of Adjunct Faculty at College of DuPage, starting in 2020. Throughout their career, Dawn has demonstrated their expertise in finance, accounting, and education.

Dawn Heid holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. Dawn is currently pursuing an iMSA (Master of Science in Accountancy) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they have a certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor from Intuit.
