Arthur Vargas has a diverse work experience. Arthur started their career as an intern at LSL (Laboratório de Software Livre/UFMG) in 2013. After that, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Rethink Tecnologia from January 2017 to July 2019, where they gained experience in frontend development using Angular and React, as well as mobile development using React Native. Arthur then transitioned to the role of Tech Lead at Rethink Tecnologia from July 2019 to June 2021. In this role, they played a hands-on leadership role in the Santander Esfera mobile app project, overseeing the project architecture and initial structure, as well as the app's launch and subsequent updates. Currently, Arthur is working at Rethink Tecnologia as the Head of Architecture & Partner, starting in June 2021. In this role, they have been responsible for building and scaling the architecture team, defining objectives, and providing strategic and technical coordination for software development projects.

Arthur Vargas has a Bachelor's Degree in Sistemas de Informação from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, which they completed from 2011 to 2017. In 2014 and 2015, they also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Portsmouth. In 2016 and 2017, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp.

Additionally, Arthur has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the courses "The Complete React Native and Redux Course" from Udemy and "Backbone Tutorial: Learn Backbonejs from Scratch" from Udemy. In 2019, they completed the "Trilha Front-End" program from The Developer's Conference. In 2020, they obtained the "Management 3.0 Fundamentals Online Workshop" certification from Management 3.0 and the "Storytelling para apresentações" certification from Gaveta de Histórias. In 2022, they obtained the "GTD L1 Fundamentos" certification from CallDaniel. Lastly, they also completed the "JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures" course provided by freeCodeCamp in 2018.
