Doug Buemi

Doug Buemi is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and marketing. After retiring in November 2018, Doug served as an Executive Advisor at J. Walter Thompson from March 2015 to November 2018, providing strategic counsel to clients like Ford and Mercedes Benz. Prior to this, Doug held the position of Vice Chairman and Regional Director for Asia Pacific at Cohn & Wolfe from January 2014 to April 2015 and has a rich history at Burson-Marsteller, where Doug advanced to Executive Vice President. Doug's career also includes roles at Ogilvy Public Relations and the Douglas Consulting Group, which Doug founded. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University, earned between 1968 and 1973.
