John Cornwell

John Cornwell is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. After retiring in July 2019 from 3M, where John served as Global Communications Director for the Health Care Business, John applied storytelling and content creation skills to community service projects. John's career at 3M encompassed roles such as Six Sigma Black Belt, leading process improvements, and various public relations and communications positions, enhancing corporate marketing and community affairs. Prior to 3M, John held the position of Communications Manager and Interim Executive Director at the Minnesota High Tech Association and served as a Communications/Technical Writer at Data Financial Systems, Inc. John holds an M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication and a B.S. in Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota.
