Eyal Yoli Abbas has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Eyal Yoli most recently worked as a Data Engineer at retrain.ai starting in January 2022. Prior to that, Eyal was the Co-founder and CTO of swaplet from June 2020 to February 2022, where they designed and built a platform for home swapping using matching mechanisms inspired by the dating world. Eyal Yoli also co-founded Focalpoint digital Israel, a photography-oriented digital agency that later pivoted to become swaplet during the COVID outbreak, from January 2020 to May 2020. Before entering the startup world, Eyal worked at IDF - Israel Defence Forces, where they held multiple roles. Eyal Yoli served as a Development Team Lead from November 2017 to January 2020, leading a team of data engineers in developing a big data platform for cybersecurity. Eyal Yoli also served as a System Architect & Integrator from November 2014 to October 2017, managing a system integration testing infrastructure and leading an architecture team within their department. These roles involved various responsibilities, including migrating platforms, improving performance and scalability, integrating new tools, deploying security policies, enhancing data pipeline monitoring, and upgrading the SLA of the platform and team to operational needs. Eyal Yoli Abbas completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Software Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2009 to 2014. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at The College of Management Academic Studies from 2018 to 2019.
