Gil Blau

Gil Blau is the Director of Platforms & Infrastructure at retrain ai. Prior to this, they were the DevOps Manager at eToroX from January 2019 to February 2021.

At eToroX, Gil managed a team of 5 employees and was responsible for creating the team roadmap, goals and prioritization. Gil also recruited and grew new team members, and established a fluent working relationship with cross site development projects and teams. Additionally, Gil built CI/CD deployments for Development, Marketing and BI teams, and managed the team tasks in an Agile Kanban methodology using Jira.

Gil also worked with the company's security team to maintain a highly secure Production environment. Gil added event-driven automations to our Production environment, and was responsible for cost management - reducing our cloud and operations costs by 60%.

Gil Blau received an engineer's degree in computer engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering.

They work with Amy DeCicco - VP of Marketing, Amir Malki - Director of Finance, and Yarden Schaffer - Director of HR. Gil Blau reports to Shay David, Co-Founder & CEO.
